CSS offers a team-based approach to providing comprehensive health services for older adults in the greater Akron community, including those residing in extended care facilities.
Care teams can include:
- Geriatric psychiatrists
- Advanced practice nurses
- Case managers
- Clinical supervisors
- Peer support providers
- Long-term care administrators
- The client’s family
To support older adults mental and physical health, CSS provides a wide range of services, including psychiatric evaluation and treatment; primary care; crisis intervention; substance use assessments; group and individual counseling; case management; and peer support.
