Community Support Services is thrilled to announce the recent election of Brett Kimmell to the Board of Directors of Community Support Services.  Mr. Kimmell is the owner of Kimmell Cybersecurity, an Akron, Ohio based cybersecurity consulting firm.  He has served as a board member of EANDC, Torchbearers and West Hill Neighborhood Organization. Brett is a member of Leadership Akron’s class Twenty-Three. 

Brett holds a Master of Science in Accounting Information Systems from The University of Akron where he was adjunct faculty teaching Information Systems Security and Accounting Information Systems. Brett also holds several certifications including, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manger, Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Technology Professional. 

Prior to launching Kimmell Cybersecurity, Brett was the Manager of the Risk Management practice at an international IT security consulting company.  Brett also worked as the Director of Information Systems and CFO for United Way of Summit County. He has held dual information systems and financial management positions in the manufacturing and distribution industries as well as Big Four auditing experience.
