The Homeless Outreach and Intake Center of Summit County brings supportive services for persons experiencing homelessness under one roof.
Criteria for Homeless Outreach
- Be homeless or at risk for homelessness
- Have symptoms suggestive of severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder
- Not be already active in mental health and/or addiction treatment
If a homeless individual does not meet program criteria, outreach workers attempt to connect the individual with other community agencies and services.
The Homeless Outreach and INtake Center of Summit County offers comfortable seating. Showers and laundry facilities are available for persons in need of serivces.
